Not sure if Adam changed the rules for this league, but the only prospects you CAN'T take in the inaugural draft are 2010 draftees (Hall, Seguin, Niederreiter, etc)
They are reserved for the prospect draft. So 1st overall for the prospect draft will most likely be Hall, Seguin, etc.
BUT in the inaugural draft you can draft guys like Eberle, Filatov, etc and plop them on your prospect roster the same way. So don't expect those top-tier prospects to last anywhere NEAR the actual prospect draft, they will go in the 10-12th round?? i have no idea, probably somewhere in there.
(Just trying to add some insight so everyone is as knowledgable as possible)

For what it's worth... I agree with Aaron. I don't mind playing for 2nd position, but my concern right now is that if the expected "super team" possibility turns out to be true, then the league will collapse at the end of the year. There will be GMs that will not want to pay another $56 to participate in a league that they have no chance of winning for the next 5 years. I have adjusted my drafting strategy based on this concern. Anyway, I guess we'll see how it turns out but I have the feeling that this draft has started on the wrong foot.
